Welcome to the Celebration of Health Self-Serve Digital presentation. This document provides simple things you and your loved ones can do to stay healthy. It’s all about paying attention to your health. Thinking about it. Talking about it. Planning for it. This presentation is the first step. YOUR HEALTH MATTERS! Your employer has selected Marpai to provide all the services supporting your health plan. This includes providing you with your health ID card, paying claims, answering questions and MOST important – helping you use your health plan to stay healthy. Stacy Singleton is the account manager for the Texas School System Health Plan. Her role is to assist your employer in managing your health plan. Lisa Willett is the Vice President of Population Health and Member Engagement at Marpai. Her job is to make sure we provide you with all the tools you need to stay on the best health journey. This presentation starts by talking about the best approach to keeping you healthy and saving you money. It’s about taking a proactive approach to health. Next, it includes a brief overview of the key features of your health plan and some proactive health services available to you. We’ll also share a preview of a new SMART App and online member portal which make it all easy. Finally, we’ll introduce you to a few of our health programs that provide innovative ways to address health needs. At the end of this presentation, you’ll be provided with a link to take a quick survey. We are taking an important approach to your health, a proactive approach. That means instead of waiting for something to go wrong to use your health plan, you use your plan all the time to stay well and prevent something from going wrong. You may see the dentist at least once a year. You do that to prevent something big and bad from happening with your teeth. And it works. That is proactive health in action. You just need to do it for your entire body. We’ll show you how easy that can be. Your health plan is your health empowerment tool. It provides everything you need. Many of you may not feel you really understand your health plan – what all the benefits are and how to use them. In this presentation, we’ll explain the plan, the services around it and how Marpai makes it easy.

You may have received our SMART Health Mailing. The purpose of this was to light up good health in YOUR home and make it fun and conversational. We spent a lot of time creating this to explain the amazing things you can do to stay healthy that you could never do before. Please read through the little pamphlet with your loved ones and talk about what good health means and looks like in your family.

Your health matters! To you, your loved ones and your employer. Staying healthy means staying on the best health journey. This is how to live better and spend less on healthcare. It’s all about using your health plan – the benefits provided by your employer. We’ll highlight a little about your plan and provide direction on where you can go if want more information or someone to sit down to explain it all. There are three additional features that Marpai provides that make a big difference. One is TopCare Providers where we help you access healthcare providers ranked in the top 10% for quality, safety and satisfaction. Next is how we help you to maintain the yearly checkups, screenings and vaccinations you need. Third is Marpai Cares, where we help you stay ahead of health issues to prevent serious illness or major procedures. Doing these three things is all it takes, and Marpai makes it easy for you.

Let’s talk a little about your health plan. You should have a health ID card. It’s a shortcut to understanding your health benefits. We’ll provide a brief overview and if you want more details, you can speak with your HR director, call our customer service line or visit the online member portal. The front of your ID card identifies your school district and your group number. Your member ID is unique to you! In addition, your deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums for both in-network and out of network claims are listed. Lastly, your dependents, if you have any covered under the plan, are listed. Each school district will have a slightly different card, but the look and feel will be the same. Remember that Marpai processes all of your claims and takes all of your calls. Don’t call Aetna - Call Marpai for everything.

The back of your health ID card also holds important information. - MDLive is a way for you to have virtual doctor visits 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All you have to do is schedule an appointment online which is very easy to do, and you will be provided with all the information to have a phone or video consultation. MDLive can prescribe medications, such as antibiotics, for certain conditions that can be diagnosed virtually. For example, if your child has an ear infection, a virtual visit can likely diagnose and treat it – all from the comfort of your home. - Pre-certification is required whenever you have surgery, need major medical equipment (also known as Durable Medical Equipment), require a high tech image such as an MRI, need home health care, or require a hospital stay. Information on how to obtain this pre-certification is listed here. - Capital RX is your Pharmacy Benefit Manager. Prescription claims are processed by Capital RX. Don’t worry, if you call us about a prescription claim, we’ll happily connect you to Capital RX for information. - Claims are submitted to Marpai at the address listed; however, most of your medical providers will submit claims electronically using our “Payer ID” which automatically routes the claims to us. Lastly, any questions you or your medical provider have can be directed to Marpai at the number listed here or you can use our online portal www.myMarpai.com. On the portal, you can get a copy of your ID card, request a physical copy of your ID card, check status of a claim, and much more information.

You may have already started using TopCare Providers and it’s amazing. Whatever your health need, we can provide you with the names of in-network providers in YOUR market ranked in the top 10% for quality, safety and patient satisfaction. This is important because it gives you the best care and has proven to deliver better results and reduce healthcare costs. When it comes to healthcare for you and loved ones, access the best – always.

Maintaining annual checkups, screenings and vaccinations is another simple thing to do to stay on the best health journey. From flu shots to mammograms to annual exams, we’ve got you covered. When it’s time for you to make an appointment, we will send you friendly text and email reminders so you stay on track. Remember, these visits are completely covered by your plan and FREE to you. So please take advantage and make the appointments.
